Join RISE and top industry speakers for a two-day virtual event May 12-13 that examines the regulatory landscape and how to prepare for the changing delivery of health care.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services continues to rollback telehealth regulations to further expand care to seniors during the global pandemic and make it easier for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries to get tested for COVID-19.
To help payers and providers keep up with the latest changes, RISE will take a deep dive into telehealth during COVID-19: The Catalyst to Widespread Telehealth, an eight-hour virtual event, spread over two days, Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13.
The first day will focus on the evolving regulatory landscape of telehealth, including changing guidelines, operational challenges, coding practices and billing protocols, and best practices. The agenda includes a discussion of CMS criteria and coding and billing practices; lessons learned about telehealth from the commercial marketplace and strategies to provide telehealth care to high-risk and COVID-19 positive patients, and risk adjustment in this new era, including strategies to track and monitor health status and identify approvable risk adjustment visits for RAPS submissions.

The second day will examine how to evaluate telehealth technologies, use technology to engage hard-to reach members, foster payer-provider collaboration to improve the member experience, quality metrics and Star ratings, and the short-term and long-term impact on financials and revenue. In addition to sessions on strategic planning for member and provider engagement, speakers will discuss opportunities for health care delivery post-COVID-19 and the potential for widespread implementation of telehealth in the future.
