Check out the planned tracks and sessions you definitely don’t want to miss:
New! Digital health care delivery: Sessions will examine trends that have accelerated because of the COVID-19 pandemic, such as telehealth, artificial intelligence, and smart devices. Advantasure is already planning a session that explores the benefits of incorporating risk adjustment and quality initiatives into a health management workflow and how to leverage your data into relevant and actionable intelligence.

New! Member experience: We’ll examine the entire member journey cycle and what professionals responsible for quality, risk adjustment, customer service, and population health must consider to boost member satisfaction and improve performance.

New! Compliance and regulatory updates: Federal guidance from the HHS, CMS, and the OIG changes so often it’s hard to keep up. Industry experts will be on hand to provide the latest news on risk adjustment, compliance, Stars, and health care reforms. And our confirmed keynote speaker Ian Morrison, a health care futurist, will look at the future of the health care marketplace, trends, and implication.

Risk adjustment strategies: Risk adjustment professionals have relied on RISE National for years to get the latest information and learn strategies to maximize performance. We’ve already lined up Marilee Klock and Kristina Trafton from Geisinger Health Plan to discuss lessons learned from their coding educator program and plans for expansion. Speakers from Centauri will examine the use of CMS reporting as a compass to optimize risk adjustment strategy. Talking points will include EDPS reports, RAPS data submission strategies, and how to avoid having to submit corrective action plans.

Provider/payer collaboration: We’ll look at best practices, opportunities, challenges, and strategies to improve collaboration efforts between providers and payers. A panel discussion is already planned to explore how advanced technologies and data analytics platforms are driving more value in today’s evolving value-based care arrangements. Confirmed moderator: Kris Volrath, vice president, products & services, Inovalon.

Data Analytics: We’ve lined up Kyle Mendez, MBA, senior director, revenue management, Landmark Health, to dig deep and help you understand data to drive results. He’ll examine actionable data as well as potential data issues.

Quality, HEDIS® and Stars: There can’t be a RISE National conference without a deep dive into quality measures! We are planning four sessions to help you close quality gaps and provide higher quality care.

Social determinants of health (SDoH): Speakers from CareAllies are confirmed for a session that explores how to transform SDoH data into big picture results. You’ll learn how to capture and use available information to improve whole-person care, collaborate with stakeholders and community-based organizations to close gaps, and enhance care without overburdening providers or encroaching on patients’ privacy or trust.
