RISE Managing Director Ellen Wofford made the following announcement during RISE West on Friday:
It is with heartfelt thanks and regret that I’m announcing the retirement of our Executive Director of the RISE Association Kevin Mowll.
More than any single individual, Kevin has been instrumental to the tremendous growth of RISE over his eight-year tenure of devoted service, thought leadership, and subject matter expertise.
Kevin began his career at RISE having developed his expertise in product design, member acquisition and engagement and marketing at Tufts Health System. However, we needed Kevin to assist with the development of our “live” events focused on the revenue and quality vertical. Immediately thereafter his entrepreneurial spirit kicked-in and we began our transformation from a ‘live’ events company to a community-based company, centered around our revenue and quality constituents and their needs.
As the revenue and quality community grew, we then decided, at Kevin’s urging, to provide "live" events in the member acquisition and engagement space via a Medicare marketing and sales conference. His persona and subject matter expertise soon earned him the title of ‘Mayor’ of the event as well as the community that sprang up as a result of his leadership and nurturing.
Today, thanks to Kevin’s vision, inspiration and motivation, RISE has become a congregation of communities providing 24/7/365 content via user groups, webinars, conferences, job boards, networking, and resource for members.
Kevin will be sorely missed at RISE. During this month of transition, he is working closely with our team to transition in order to minimize any effect on you, our clients. Therefore, I ask you to join me in thanking Kevin for his service and wishing him the best of success in his retirement.
