Hear how four health plans adjusted their product, marketing, and sales strategies to address changes implemented for 2019. Be prepared to participate in discussions centered around planning for 2020.

1:50 p.m. Track B (Champagne 4): Beyond the Sales Seminar: Online Enrollment with Brokers  & Member Retention 
Shannon Drotning, director of Medicare sales, Regence, will explain how the organization works with brokers and continues to engage their members throughout the year. Learn about successful member retention activities, events, and member communications.

3:35 p.m. Track A (Versailles 1): Walking the Tight Rope: How a Health System Balanced Brand and Direct Response Marketing
Kristy Croom Tucker, system marketing manager, BayCare, will talk about the success the health system has had with its 2019 launch of BayCarePlus Medicare Advantage. Lean how BayCare, the largest health system in the greater Tampa Bay area, leveraged its system brand campaign to heat up the Medicare market prior to AEP using traditional and digital market tactics.

3:35 p.m. Track B (Champagne 4): Case Study: Opting into a Multi-Carrier Exchange
Alicia Kelley, director of Medicare sales, Capital District Physician’s Health Plan, Inc., will discuss the trends and opportunities for plans to consider as members move out of Medicare groups and into general enrollment. You’ll also learn about opportunities and obstacles to opting into a multi-carrier exchange.
